The jungle is an increasingly popular baby shower theme. Maybe it’s because jungle baby shower invitations are so cute, with the little baby animals, because the decorations are just gorgeous or because jungle games are just lots of fun to play during the parties. Whatever the reason, you can host a baby shower that your guests will always remember if you plan it right. Here are some games you can play during the party that will match the theme hilariously!
- Jungle bag game: You’ll need 10 baby items in different shapes and sizes and 10 sturdy paper bags. Fill each bag with one of the items and add your choice of straw, grass, cotton or confetti. Staple the bags close and hand them out one at a time. Each guest has to pass the bags around and guess what’s inside, writing it down on a card. Whoever gets more correct answers wins the game. All the baby items are given to the mother after the game finishes (so if you’re using grass as an obstacle for the guessing, try not to put it on the bag where the pacifiers are!)
- The monkey skills game: Sit 4 or 5 of your guests on chairs, in the middle of the room. Tell them the game is all about putting their monkey skills to the test. Whatever they’ll be doing, a monkey can do very easily, so they shouldn’t have any problems too. Provide each participant with two plastic bowls (an empty one and one full with cotton balls) and a spoon. Blind fold all of them, and tell them that one of the bowls will remain empty, sitting on their lap, while the other goes over their heads. They can help balance the bowl on top of their heads by grabbing it with one hand. With the spoon on the other hand, they have to grab the cotton balls and pass them to the empty bowl. This game is lots of fun to watch, as they won’t know if the ball is on the spoon or not. After one minute, time runs out and whoever has more cotton balls on the bowl on their lap, wins.
- The jungle baby game: Print out as many lists of jungle animals as participants you’ll have. Hand each of them a card and ask them to write down the name of each animal on the back of the card, in the same order as the animals appear. You’ll be surprised how hard to remember some of the baby names are, and everyone will have fun trying to follow the order and turning the cards around. Of course, there’s a time limit: one minute and the bell rings, whoever has the longer list on the back of the card, wins.
- The pregnant safari game: If the mother to be is still uncomfortable or feeling nausea from her pregnancy, this game might actually make her feel better. You’ll have to prepare some animal baby ice cubes using plastic miniature animal babies. Put each cube on a glass of cold water and add some hot water in different amounts to each glass. Tell everyone they are all going to have a baby right now and hand them with a glass with a partially melted cube-baby, tell them that the glass is their womb. They have to guess at what time the glass will melt, (but as you can also put it; when will their baby be born) and write it down. They all have to watch their glasses throughout the party, and whoever has the closest birth time on their card, wins.
If you are planning to host a shower full of activities, remember to ask your guests to wear comfortable clothes on your jungle baby shower invitations. Just relax and let your inner child loose, after all, how long has it been since your last play date?

Buying a used and GameCube games, is this a good price?
My son wants a GameCube (which is 10) for her birthday. I can buy all those things used for $ 150 from a coworker. These are the prices I have offered, are these decent prices? $ 30.00-Nintendo Gamecube (with power supply and connector TV) Gamecube controller $ 5.00 -1 $ 0.00 -1 memory card (standard size) $ 15.00-$ 20.00 Mario Golf Super Smash Bros. Melee-$ 20.00-Mario Kart Double $ 20.00-Dash Donkey Konga (with Congo drums) $ 10 – Animal Crossing $ 15.00-$ 15.00 Super Mario Sunshine-Super Monkey Ball2
IMO that is good business. I paid $ 150 for my GC and Animal Crossing, when new.
